Please note: the platform originally developed under the name KijaniBox has been renamed to Space-IoT Box. This deliverable describes the development of the second version of the platform under its former name; however, Space-IoT Box is now the official name used throughout the KijaniSpace project. Space-IoT Box is the operational digital platform of the KijaniSpace project, integrating Copernicus Earth Observation (EO) data, IoT sensor networks, weather services, geospatial information, and training resources into a unified environment for climate-smart agriculture in Africa. Developed within the Horizon Europe KijaniSpace project, the platform provides both an intuitive web dashboard and a developer-oriented REST API that enable the rapid development of innovative downstream applications for the Lake Victoria Basin. The platform enables users to explore historical and forecast agroclimatic information, access Sentinel satellite imagery and vegetation indices, visualise real-time IoT measurements, discover available datasets, and integrate these resources directly into their own applications through open, standards-based APIs. Space-IoT Box is designed for developers, SMEs, researchers, agronomists, innovation hubs, public authorities, and other stakeholders working to advance sustainable agriculture and aquaculture across Africa. Key Results Delivered a fully operational Space-IoT Box platform integrating Copernicus EO data, meteorological services, IoT sensor networks, and geospatial datasets.  The link to the platform is app.kijanispace.eu. Developed a modern web dashboard providing interactive access to agroclimatic indicators, satellite imagery, IoT devices, data catalogues, and training resources. Implemented a comprehensive REST API enabling developers to retrieve weather forecasts, agroclimatic variables, Sentinel imagery, vegetation indices, metadata, and IoT sensor observations. Adopted international interoperability standards, including OGC STAC, enabling seamless integration of Earth Observation products into external applications. Integrated real-time IoT connectivity through the WaziCloud platform while supporting user-controlled data visibility and privacy. Established a scalable architecture combining services from Meteoblue, Plan4all, WaziUp and KijaniSpace into a unified platform supporting climate-smart agriculture innovation. Impact Space-IoT Box significantly lowers the technical barriers to using Copernicus Earth Observation and IoT technologies by providing ready-to-use services that developers, innovators and SMEs can immediately integrate into new digital solutions. Rather than building complex EO processing chains from scratch, users can focus on creating applications that address real agricultural and aquaculture challenges. The platform strengthens research and innovation capacity by providing harmonised access to climate, satellite and sensor data while supporting the KijaniSpace Talent Programme, Innovation Programme and pilot demonstrations. It accelerates the development of precision agriculture services, improves environmental monitoring, and enables evidence-based decision-making for crop and fish farming across the Lake Victoria Basin. By combining interoperable APIs, open geospatial standards and modern web technologies, Space-IoT Box establishes a sustainable digital infrastructure that promotes wider adoption of Copernicus services, strengthens collaboration between African and European innovators, and contributes to climate resilience, digital transformation, and sustainable economic development in Africa.
