Data Capturing and Processing System (A Case Study of the Nigeria Stock Exchange, Ilorin Branch)

Abstract - The purpose of this project is to suggest how stock processing can be better handle to produce more meaningful and quick report. The objectives of the study are provision for automatic validation record and check balances for automated record keeping system, better record keeping for members in areas of personal records with numerous staff and proper files. The problems encounter are: Increase in clerical operation, problem of internal communication, reduce relations with outside groups, clashes and improper documentation and reducing efficiency. The problem of Nigeria Stock Exchange (NSE) system can be solved by creating computer based system with programs written and completed to meet the desired objectives and satisfactory result that would further improve the services and management of the stock exchange system in Nigeria. A high level language called Visual Basic programming was used. It is a complex relation database management package.
