This dataset archive contains the primary household survey microdata, spatial vector boundaries, and multi-temporal remote sensing gridded time-series used to support the analysis in Kotikot et al. (2025), Annals of the American Association of Geographers. To use this data directly with the accompanying replication scripts, extract the contents of this archive into a folder named Data in your project root directory. Tabular Microdata (/Raw and /Processed/SurveyData) Format: Comma-Separated Values (.csv) Description: Contains household-level responses gathered across agropastoral communities in Narok County, Kenya. Variables capture demographic profiles, livelihood indicators (e.g., household asset metrics, income dynamics), and categorical assessments of structural climate shifts (perceived changes in multi-seasonal rainfall totals, onset variance, and local range productivity impacts). Georeferenced coordinate pairs are retained to facilitate local grid pixel extractions. 2. Spatiotemporal Gridded Observations (/Processed/raingAvgs, /Phenometrics, and /rainTiming) Format: GeoTIFF (.tif) and Native Raster Matrix pairs (.gri/.grd) Description: Multi-temporal continuous surface datasets spanning 1982–2020. Precipitation Layers: Comprise long-term, multi-satellite blended precipitation records grouped by dorminant rainfall season. Phenometrics Matrix Stacks: Retain localized vegetation trajectory profiles (such as Time-Integrated Enhanced Vegetation Index (TI-EVI)) extracted across separate regional sub-regimes to track real-time landscape production responses. Rain Timing Layers: Track historic localized Julian day calendars representing the start, and ending of vital wet seasons. 3. Vector Boundary Elements (/Raw) Format: ESRI Shapefile (.shp) Description: Contains the vectorized geographic administrative perimeter for Narok County, Kenya. Used directly as an environmental clipping layer, geographic mask, and base layout mapping standard for vector visualization.   Geographic Boundaries (Spatial Coverage) Region: Narok County, Kenya (East Africa) Bounding Box Dimensions (Approximate coordinates for indexing maps): West-bound Longitude: 34.5° E East-bound Longitude: 36.5° E North-bound Latitude: -0.5° S South-bound Latitude: -1.9° S Temporal Attributes (Time-Series Span) Baseline Survey Collection Windows: June 2021 Remote Sensing Data Integration Frame: 1982 –  2020 Spatial reference information WGS 84 / UTM Zone 37S
