This repository contains the dataset and supporting analytical materials for the study entitled “Comparative Diagnostic Accuracy of Blood-Based versus Urine-Based Rapid Diagnostic Tests for Plasmodium falciparum: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis.” The data comprise study-level information extracted from eligible publications included in the systematic review, including diagnostic accuracy outcomes and 2×2 contingency table data (true positives, false positives, true negatives, and false negatives) used in the meta-analysis. The repository also includes supplementary analytical materials and documentation used to generate the pooled estimates of sensitivity and specificity and to assess heterogeneity across studies. The study synthesized evidence from 13 published studies (14 datasets) conducted in malaria-endemic regions of Africa and Asia, comparing the diagnostic performance of blood-based and urine-based rapid diagnostic tests for Plasmodium falciparum using microscopy as the reference standard. These materials are provided to promote transparency, facilitate reproducibility of the analyses, and support future research on malaria diagnostics. The data originate from previously published studies and have been compiled, curated, and standardized for the purposes of this systematic review and meta-analysis.
