This dataset contains anonymised survey data collected from pre-service visual art teachers in Ghana as part of a cross-sectional study on creative thinking disposition and gender differences. The dataset includes demographic variables and composite scores measuring creative thinking disposition obtained through a structured self-report questionnaire. Descriptive statistics indicate moderate to high levels of creative thinking disposition among participants. Inferential analysis using a Welch t-test identifies statistically significant gender differences. The data support interpretation within an interactionist framework, emphasising the combined influence of individual cognitive tendencies and social contexts. No causal inferences should be drawn. It can be used for secondary analysis, replication studies, cross-cultural comparison, or methodological research in creativity, education, and teacher training contexts.
