Dataset for: Monitoring potato variety observations in Kenya (2025) from VarScout

This dataset contains Excel files exported from the VarScout web application, with anonymized varietal observation records for Kenya (2025). The main data table includes varietal identifiers and names, location and user identifiers, country, observation date and year, geospatial coordinates (latitude/longitude), estimated planted area (with units), yield, effort, public flag, and free-text observation notes. The anonymized dataset also includes additional demographic/farm fields (e.g., farmer_id, sex, birth_year, full_farm_area). A companion data dictionary file (diccionario de datos) describes each field, its data type, null/unique counts, and example values.
