Dataset for pilot-scale evaluation of a floating rice–aquaculture system with Nile tilapia and redclaw crayfish in earthen ponds

This dataset contains the research data supporting the study “Pilot-scale evaluation of a floating rice–aquaculture system with Nile tilapia and redclaw crayfish in earthen ponds.” The study evaluated three integrated floating rice–aquaculture configurations in replicated earthen ponds under tropical conditions: Nile tilapia monoculture (15 ind. m⁻³), redclaw crayfish monoculture (2 ind. m⁻³), and polyculture of Nile tilapia (10 ind. m⁻³) with redclaw crayfish (1 ind. m⁻³). Two floating rice varieties, Inpari 30 (IR30) and Inpari 32 (IR32), were evaluated. The deposited data include measurements used to evaluate aquatic animal growth performance, floating rice growth and productivity, and environmental conditions of the experimental systems. Pond-level values were used as independent experimental units for statistical analyses.
