The dataset contains the data of 1096 young adults who were assessed for their levels of sexual and reproductive health literacy (SRHL) and the utilization of SRH services. Background information obtained include age, religion, and educational status, among others. The history of sexual activity was also elicited. The SHRL was assessed with an adapted version of the standardises validated health literacy questionnaire (HLQ) which have 44 questions (HLQ1 – HLQ44). Responses to HLQ1 to 23 are scored on a 4-point likert scale ranging from “strongly agree”(1) to “strongly agree”(4) while responses to HLQ24 to 44 were scored on a 5-point likert scale from ‘always difficult’(1) to ‘always easy’(5). The utilization of SRH services was assessed by asking if respondents has ever visited a health facility for SRH care (srh_utilization). Respondents ticked the specific SRH care or service they obtained from a list provided.
