The study draws on 2,085 online forum posts from 175 Honors and Master's-degree management students in South Africa, along with data on simulation engagement, simulation performance, and post-test conceptual understanding. Forum discourse was analyzed to identify patterns in behavioral engagement, thematic content, cognitive engagement, and the temporal evolution of students’ conceptual understanding.
