The Climate-Hotspots Gender Impact Assessment was carried out by the Friedensau Institute for Evaluation (FIFE) in Germany, acting on behalf of WorldFish. This impact evaluation examined the extent to which interventions implemented between 2018 and 2022 by WorldFish Zambia have impacted fish farmers in seven targeted districts across Luapula and Northern provinces in Zambia. The study employed a mixed-method design involving quantitative (survey questionnaire) and qualitative (key informant interviews and focus group discussions) approaches for data collection. Survey responses were collected from 322 households in the treatment districts and 178 households from the control districts. The study was financially supported by the CGIAR Gender Impact Platform. We wish to convey our deep appreciation to the farmers who graciously took part in this research. Without their generous cooperation, this study would not have been achievable. Their perspectives, experiences, and contributions played a pivotal role in shaping the study's findings and conclusions. We are profoundly thankful for their time, knowledge, and willingness to share their insights.
