Dataset of Critical Mineral Mining Impact Benefit Agreements - 2026

Dataset of publicly available critical mineral mining impact benefit agreements (IBAs). Contains copies of 27 publicly available critical mineral mining IBAs from 8 countries across the Global North and South (Australia, Canada, Chile, Ghana, Greenland (Denmark), Mongolia, Papua New Guinea, and the United States), for diverse critical minerals (17 different minerals or groups of minerals - 15 plus the platinum group metals and rare earth elements). IBAs are also referred to as impact and benefit agreements, community benefit agreements, community development agreements, and benefit sharing agreements.
