Detailed Design Document

The Detailed Design Document (DDD) is the instructional design blueprint of the CVEinAI course. It sets out the pedagogical foundations, unit structures, and student experience design, offering a transparent guide for how the course has been developed. The Document can thus be used to explain to any interested teachers how to adapt the CVEinAI Model for use in other Higher Educational settings. The DDD will include instructional design guidelines for building modules to be adapted to the CVEinAI course, as well as session plans used for the online facilitated discussions among students.

Critical Virtual Exchange in Artificial Intelligence (CVEinAI) is an Erasmus+ project fostering critical thinking needed to carry out ethically sound work in Artificial Intelligence (AI) through a Critical approach to Virtual Exchange. The initiative connects Higher Education Institutions from Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa to develop AI literacy, ethical awareness, and intercultural dialogue. The project started on 1 February 2025 and it runs for 36 months.
