This dataset includes a household survey conducted in artisanal mining communities in northern Guinea as part of the DFC project. The sample consists of mining households with young children; the interviewees are the mother of the young child. Topics covered include household demographics, mining livelihoods, diets of women and young children, food sources, and food choices. The survey was conducted twice, in different sets of villages, in October 2018 and March 2019; the data from March 2019 are uploaded separately. The questionnaires are very similar (but not identical) across the two rounds. Documentation includes the survey questionnaires (in Word and ODK versions); the ODK versions should be seen as the definitive versions, as the Word versions do not reflect changes made during piloting.
