Dog, Goat, and Lion Dog_Goat_Lion Cifungwa Folktales

Aliyu told some children and his friends the story of Dog, Goat, and lion. At the end of the story, he gave the children tofu as a price for listening. This project focuses on the documentation of Cifungwa folktales. Dog and Goat visited lion who was afraid and ran away. Both dog and goat took the opportunity and stole lion's food. She is a student at the Department of Linguistics, University of Ilorin. She is in her third year at the University. She was born in Kaduna where she has spent most of her life. Aliyu is a wood logger and a farmer who was born in Ringa. Apart from going for business trips in various parts of Nigeria for few days, he has spent most his life in Ringa. He is a young farmer who speaks Cifungwa. He has spent most part of his life in Ringa community. Yakubu's hobby is playing football. He lived in Ilesa, Osun state for two months. Yakubu followed Samuel to Minna as a consultant and a research assistant for this project. The relocation to Minna was due to civil disorder and kidnapping in Alawa, a nearby community.
