The DPSIR v4 crop model prototype built under the Vensim environment is aa improved version of the DPSIR v3 prototype model. Version 4 was developed by Uba Matthew Ndubuisi, and Version 3 by Guipponi Carlo. The previous was built to simulate crop systems using daily data for just one crop season (365 days), while the improved version which is build following the same framework to simulate annual temperatures (T) and precipitation (P) scenarios under the SSP-RCPs climate scenarios. Mechanisms for climate adaptation were also integrated into the DPSIR v4 for policy evaluation and decision making. DPSIR v4 was calibrated using parameters for the Niger River Basin in Nigeria, and it has been validated and evaluated.
