This item is an ivory carving of a lion from the North Cemetery at Abydos, Egypt in the collections of the Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology, University College London (ucl.ac.uk) The following is from the Petrie Museum's Online Catalogue (petriecat.museums.ucl.ac.uk ).
