The total population of the study comprised 6,400 personnel based on the 2025 staff nominal roll. A sample size of 414 respondents was determined using the Taro Yamane formula, including an additional 10% to account for non response. Data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire, while the reliability of the instrument was established using Cronbach’s Alpha, with all variables exceeding the acceptable threshold of 0.70. Data analysis was conducted using multiple regression analysis with the aid of SPSS version 24.0 at a 5% level of significance. Out of the 414 questionnaires distributed, 376 were successfully returned and found valid, representing a response rate of 90.8%. The findings revealed that office equipment has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the Nigeria Police Force, Adamawa State Command (β = 0.344, p < 0.05). Similarly, ammunition was found to have a strong positive and significant influence on police performance (β = 0.375, p < 0.05), indicating that it is a major determinant of operational effectiveness. The study concluded that the availability and adequacy of office equipment and ammunition significantly enhance police efficiency, responsiveness, and overall effectiveness. The study recommended that management of the Nigeria Police Force should ensure regular provision and maintenance of modern office equipment, while government and relevant authorities should prioritize the consistent supply of quality ammunition to improve operational capacity and performance.
