The project comprises two studies to address the research aim. Study 1 will employ a cross-sectional survey design to investigate the relationships between past trauma, difficulties in daily living, IER strategies, mental health, and wellbeing. Study 2 will investigate the relationship between the use of daily IER strategies and positive and negative affect using Ecological Momentary Assessment techniques.
