Evaluating the Prevalence of Hospital Acquired Infections and Associated Prevalence Factors in Nigeria: A Scoping Review Protocol

This scoping review aims to collate the existing evidence on the prevalence of Hospital Acquired Infections (HAI) in Nigeria, much of which consists of disparate and specific HAI research, and aggregate the findings. The factors which are associated with prevalence rates of nosocomial infections will also be identified, with the objective of informing future research and formulating proposals to attenuate the prevalence of HAI in Nigeria.
