Evidence gap analysis of mobile antimicrobial stewardship apps supporting treatment guideline adherence in sub-Saharan Africa: A scoping review

This scoping review will map and synthesize available evidence on mobile antimicrobial stewardship apps supporting healthcare workers’ adherence to antimicrobial treatment guidelines in sub-Saharan Africa. The review will identify the geographical distribution of studies, target users, intervention features, implementation approaches, and reported outcomes. Evidence gap analysis will be used to show where evidence is available, limited, or absent. The expected outcome is a consolidated evidence map that informs future research, policy, and digital antimicrobial stewardship implementation in the region.
