South Africa is frequently affected by Loadshedding which can have further effects on criminalactivities across the country due to the blackouts. The purpose of this study is to investigate any possible relationships between Stage 6 loadsheddingand criminal activity, in order to better understand this topic. This research can prompt further research into the topic in order to give government officials a better understanding of the relationship betweenloadshedding and crime in the country.
