The study develops a concept to effectively promote the utilisation of Grain Amaranth Products among institutional consumers in Uganda, with a specific focus on schools. It seeks to address knowledge gaps, improve awareness, and clarify preferences among school stakeholders. The goal was to develop a concept promoting effective GAP utilisation in schools. The research topics covered nutritional profiles, attitudes, awareness, purchase intentions, and concept enhancement. The methodology involved a qualitative case study in Wakiso district, employing in-depth interviews, focus group discussions and sensory evaluations with key informants, school participants, administrators, cooks, and policy makers.
