Yakubu talked about the meaning and the context of use for two different focus constructions. This project focuses on the documentation of Cifungwa folktales. This session contains the context of use and the meaning of the focus marker in Cifungwa. Samuel elicited this data with Yakubu in Minna. The session was recorded in Minna, not Ringa, Pandogari (the indigenous community of the Ura people). He is a native speaker of Yoruba from Ogun state. He is also the investigator He is a young farmer who speaks Cifungwa. He has spent most part of his life in Ringa community. Yakubu's hobby is playing football. He lived in Ilesa, Osun state for two months. Yakubu followed Samuel to Minna as a consultant and a research assistant for this project. The relocation to Minna was due to civil disorder and kidnapping in Alawa, a nearby community.
