Access to student support services is critical for improving learning outcomes and overall well-being among students, particularly in higher education. This study investigated the specific challenges faced by students at Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) Lodwar Campus in accessing these essential services. Using a descriptive cross-sectional design, data were collected through structured questionnaires administered to a sample of 80 second- and third-year students selected via systematic random sampling. Quantitative and qualitative responses were analyzed using SPSS Version 18 to provide a comprehensive view of the issues at hand. The findings indicated that 62.5% of students encountered significant barriers in utilizing support services. Key challenges included time constraints, affecting 62% of respondents, limited awareness of available services (8%), lack of direct support (10%), and physical distance from service centers (4%).
