

This paper investigates the effectiveness of mobile apps as a means of delivering mental health interventions within African psychotherapy. With mental health being a growing concern in Africa and limited access to quality care, exploring innovative approaches like mobile app-based interventions becomes crucial. The study utilizes mixed-methods research design, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews with therapists and clients across various regions of Africa. The findings aim to shed light on the potential benefits, challenges, and cultural considerations associated with using mobile apps in African psychotherapy settings. This research contributes towards improving accessibility to mental healthcare services by leveraging technology effectively within an African context.
