Key Methodologies
The Severity of Compound Drought and Heatwave Events (
doi.org) was computed for the last 5, 10 and 20 years and reclassified into four classes: 0 - insignificant CDHW (below 70th percentile, below 13 degrees), 1 - mild (above 70th percentile, 13 degrees), 2 - moderate (above 90th percentile, 23 degrees), 3 - severe (above 95th percentile, 30 degrees).
The exposure analysis was conducted at riskchanges.org
