The purpose of this Study is to replicate the findings of Study 2 (Citizen Fact-Checkers) with participants and news headlines from Nigeria. We will create fact-checking groups comprising citizens who voted for different candidates in the 2023 election: (i) individuals who voted for Bola Tinubu (Homogeneous condition (APC)), (ii) individuals who voted for Peter Obi (Homogeneous condition (LP)), and (iii) individuals who voted for both candidates (Heterogeneous condition).
