Power grid forecasting in Ethiopia requires accurate modelling to ensure efficient energy distribution and management. Finite-element methods were employed to discretize the complex system of power grids. A mathematical assumption was made about the grid's behaviour under varying conditions, and properties such as stability and convergence were verified through simulation. The finite-element method yielded a significant reduction in computational time compared to traditional numerical methods, enabling more efficient forecasting across different scenarios. This study demonstrates the effectiveness of using finite-element discretization for power-grid forecasting in Ethiopia, providing robust error bounds and enhancing model accuracy. Further research should focus on integrating real-world data into the simulation models to validate their predictive capabilities under actual conditions.
