From Green Logistics Readiness to Firm-Level GSCM Performance in Egypt: A Multilevel Synthetic Benchmark

This computational study validates a multilevel framework linking organizational capability and regional logistics readiness to green supply chain management (GSCM) adoption and sustainable performance in Egypt. The reproducible dataset contains 480 synthetic firms nested in 12 named industrial and logistics regions. The unconditional intraclass correlation was 0.438, indicating material between-region variation by design. In the random-intercept adoption model, organizational readiness (β=0.32), digital readiness (β=0.19), supplier collaboration (β=0.18), and human capability (β=0.11) were positive. The organizational-readiness × regional-readiness interaction was also positive (β=0.15). A zone-clustered performance model explained 54.0% of variance, with GSCM adoption as the dominant predictor. Results validate a cross-level analysis design; they are not empirical estimates of Egyptian regions or firms.
