With an emphasis on the mediating function of technological advancements in Ethiopia, this study examines the impact of gamification in education on learning outcomes and student engagement. A survey was conducted with 400 participants, comprising educators, students, and professionals working in education technology. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and exploratory factor analysis (EFA) were used to determine the underlying characteristics of gamification in education, technological advancements, and learning results as well as student engagement. The data's appropriateness for factor analysis was evaluated using Bartlett's test of sphericity and the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) measure of sampling adequacy. The mediating impact of technology advancements in the link among gamification in education and student engagement and learning outcomes in Ethiopia was then investigated using structural equation modeling (SEM). The study's conclusions offer insightful information on how gamification in the classroom might raise student interest and boost academic performance.
