Geospatial data on the distribution of threatened endemic plants within South Africa extracted from the Botanical Database of South Africa (BODATSA) published by the South African National Biodiversity Institute Botanical Database of South…). These data were used to generate species distribution models to evaluate the efficacy of the current protected area network under projected climate change scenarios.
