Ghana Electronic Transport System (GETS): A National Integrated Smart Fare Collection and Public Transport Management Platform for Ghana

Ghana Electronic Transport System (GETS) is a proposed integrated smart fare collection and public transport management platform designed for Ghana. Founded by Francis Blay Andoh, GETS proposes a unified smart-card and digital mobility ecosystem supporting contactless transport payments, offline fare processing, mobile-money integration, USSD services, passenger applications, transport operator management, electronic fare calculation, transaction reconciliation and transport analytics. The architecture is designed to support progressive deployment across buses, trotros and other participating transport services, with a long-term objective of developing an interoperable national digital mobility platform for Ghana. The official GETS slogan is “One Tap Travel Easily.”
