where is the most suitable potential site for centralized bus terminal in Abeokuta metro, Ogun state, Nigeria
# Centralized Bus Terminal Site Selection in Abeokuta
## Project Overview
This project uses geographic information systems (GIS) and spatial analysis techniques to identify suitable location for a centralized bus terminal in Abeokuta, Ogun state, Nigeria.
The Study examine the spatial relationship between existing bus stops, road networks, population distribution, major activity centres, land use, environmental constraints, and accessibility factors to identify areas with the greatest potential for centralized transport facility.
## Main Research Question
Where should a centralized bus terminal be located in Abeokuta to maximize accessibility, passenger demand, and service coverage while minimizing congestion, travel distance, and environmental risk?

## Project Goal
The project aims to use GIS-based Multi-Criteria Evaluation (MCE) and network analysis to identify, evaluate, and rank potential locations for a centralized bus terminal in Abeokuta.
The analysis will consider accessibility, passenger demand, road connectivity, land-use suitability, proximity to major activity centres, environmental constraints, and potential service coverage.
## Key Analysis
- Multi-Criteria Evaluation (MCE)
- Candidate-site identification and ranking
- location allocation
- Service-area analysis
## Expected Output
The final output will be a GIS-based suitability map identifying and ranking potential locations for a centralized bus terminal in Abeokuta.
The study will also produce supporting spatial datasets, thematic maps, accessibility and servi …
