These are not just problems they are big attacks that can lead to people losing money and having their personal information stolen. EthioShield-ML is not a piece of software it is a special defense system that protects Ethiopian users in real time. What makes EthioShield-ML different is that it is designed to meet the needs of people in Ethiopia. Many global security tools have trouble with the language but EthioShield-ML uses Machine Learning to analyze threats in both English and Amharic. EthioShield-ML can spot scam messages that try to trick people into clicking on links by looking for words that sound desperate or urgent. It does this by using Natural Language Processing and deep learning models like LSTM. I also made sure that EthioShield-ML can do things. It does not just read text it can also look at pictures and screenshots to find threats. If it finds something suspicious it does not just block it it also explains why it is bad. My goal with EthioShield-ML is to make Ethiopias digital world a safer place. I want to create a website that's easy to use and accessible to everyone. This will help us move towards a digital environment. For Ethiopia to do well in the age people need to feel safe when they are online and EthioShield-ML is a step towards making that happen.
