Traditional corridors between countries like Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, and South Africa are plagued by high fees (often 7–12%), slow settlement times (1–5 business days), opaque exchange rates, and limited accessibility in rural areas. Billions of dollars flow through these corridors annually, yet the infrastructure serving them hasn't meaningfully improved for decades. ## The Solution StellarRemit replaces the legacy correspondent banking chain with Stellar's global payment network.
