Description of Results Files #### About the Model This repository contains the files needed to execute a dynamic transmission model for tuberculosis (TB) and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) disease progression that is compartmentalized by TB stage, HIV stage, TB and HIV treatment status, TB drug resistance status, and gender. The model is set up to evaluate the impacts of increased uptake of antiretroviral therapy (ART) and isoniazid preventive therapy (IPT) observed in the community-based intervention of the Delivery Optimization for Antiretroviral Therapy (DO ART) trial, compared to standard, facility-based ART and IPT care. The model projects health outcomes, including TB incidence, TB mortality, TB and HIV prevalence. **TB Transitions** **HIV Transitions** Above is an illustration of the rates of flow for the TB and HIV dynamic transmission model. Rates of flow between each compartment are governed by differential equations, as described in the appendix.
