# Hausa Keyboard for iOS
A custom iOS keyboard extension that makes it easy to type Hausa text with special characters.

## Installation
### Requirements
- iOS 15.0 or later
- Xcode 15.0 or later
- macOS for development
### Build from Source
1. Clone this repository:
```bash
git clone
github.com
cd HausaKeyboard-iOS
```
2. Open `HausaKeyboard.xcodeproj` in Xcode
3. Select your development team in Signing & Capabilities
4. Build and run on your device
5. Enable the keyboard:
- Go to **Settings** → **General** → **Keyboard** → **Keyboards**
- Tap **Add New Keyboard**
- Select **HausaKeyboard**
- Switch keyboards using the 🌐 globe icon
## Usage
Once enabled, switch to the Hausa keyboard by tapping the 🌐 globe icon on your keyboard. The special Hausa characters (ɓ, ɗ, ƙ, ƴ, ʼy) are easily accessible on the bottom row.
## About Hausa Language
Hausa is spoken by over 70 million people, primarily in Nigeria and Niger. The language uses several special characters that are not available on standard keyboards.
