Analysis of Pentavalent vaccine coverage and dropout rates across Nigeria's six geopolitical zones using Excel and Power BI. # Nigeria Immunization Coverage & Dropout Analysis (NDHS 2023–24) ## Project Overview This project analyzes Pentavalent vaccine coverage and dropout rates across Nigeria's six geopolitical zones using Excel and Power BI. ## Objectives - Assess regional vaccine coverage - Identify dropout patterns - Highlight disparities between zones ## Tools Used - Excel - Power BI ## Key Findings - South East recorded the highest Penta 1 coverage (93.1%) - South South recorded the highest Penta 3 coverage (79.6%) - South East had the highest dropout rate (13.8%) - North West recorded the lowest coverage levels - Coverage gap between best and worst zones was 47 percentage points ## Dashboard ## Recommendations 1. Improve follow-up systems for children missing subsequent doses. 2. Prioritize interventions in low-performing zones. 3. Strengthen community engagement. 4. Improve immunization data quality. 5. Increase access to routine immunization services.
