Understanding where water services are available, the quality of those services, and the challenges faced by different communities is essential for informed decision-making and effective resource allocation. This project uses Power BI to transform raw operational data into an interactive business intelligence dashboard. By building a relational data model and creating dynamic visualizations, the dashboard provides insights into water access, infrastructure, service demand, pollution, and community safety across Maji Ndogo. ## Objectives The project aims to: * Build a robust relational data model in Power BI. * Clean and transform data from multiple related tables. * Develop interactive dashboards that support data-driven decision-making. * Identify regional disparities in water access. * Monitor service demand through queue analysis. * Explore environmental and social factors affecting water infrastructure. ## Dashboard Features The dashboard provides insights into: ### Water Access * Number of people served nationally and by province. * Distribution of water sources across urban and rural communities. * Regional access to different water source types. * Water source distribution by province and town. ### Queue Analysis * Average queue times at community water sources. * Queue duration by day of the week. * Queue patterns throughout the day. * Gender composition of people waiting in queues (male, female, and children). ### Water Quality * Pollution levels across different water sources. * Identification of contaminated water sources. * Distribution of polluted water sources by region. ### Community Safety * Crime incidents occurring at community water sources. * Geographic distribution of reported incidents. * Relationship between water access and community safety. ## Technologies Used * Powe …
