A website aimed to help ethiopian educators translate materials as well as educate others about the education crisis in ethiopia. # Ethiopia Education Crisis Website A static website about the education crisis in Ethiopia, focused on language barriers in the Somali Regional State. ## What is included - A complete single-page website in `index.html` - Language tabs for English, Afaan Oromo, Amharic, and Somali - A real translation tool for those four languages - Sections for Ethiopia background, root causes, evidence, and the mobile education unit proposal - An `assets/images` folder for your own images ## How to open locally Open `index.html` in a browser. The translation feature uses an online translation service, so it needs internet access. ## How to put on GitHub Pages 1. Create a new GitHub repository. 2. Upload everything in this folder to the repository. 3. Go to repository Settings. 4. Open Pages. 5. Choose Deploy from a branch. 6. Select the `main` branch and the root folder. 7. Save. GitHub will publish the website using `index.html` as the homepage. ## Editing Replace the placeholder text, add your citations, and add your images in `assets/images`.
