The study, triggered by cases of respiratory illness in children, highlights the importance of proper surveillance and screening in managing outbreaks. ### Key Findings: - 170 cases of acute respiratory infections were identified, with 51% affecting children under five years. - 43% of tested cases were positive for SARS-CoV-2 and influenza A. - The study emphasizes the need for improved laboratory systems, expanded surveillance, and better training for health workers. ### Recommendations: - Establish a unified surveillance data-sharing network. - Integrate community-based surveillance systems into policy. - Leverage digital health tools and multipathogen panels for better detection. - Conduct long-term behavioral studies to assess intervention impacts.
