An analysis of entry level skills jobs in Ghana # Bridging the Skills Gap: Entry-Level Jobs in Ghana ## Research Question What skills do employers commonly request in entry-level jobs in Ghana? ## Objective To identify the skills most frequently requested by employers and examine what this may mean for graduate employability. ## Methodology I analyzed 10 entry-level job advertisements from different industries in Ghana. I recorded whether eight selected skills were mentioned in each advertisement. ## Skills Analyzed - Communication - Teamwork - Problem Solving - Excel - Data Analysis - Digital Skills - English - Work Experience ## Key Findings - Communication — 80% - Digital Skills — 80% - Work Experience — 80% - Teamwork — 50% - Problem Solving — 40% - Excel — 30% - English — 30% - Data Analysis — 10% ## Conclusion The findings suggest that communication, digital skills, and practical work experience are important requirements across the entry-level jobs analyzed.
