Groundwater quality, pollution sources, and health risk assessment, Atiwa West, Ghana → doi.org --- ## Study Areas ### Study 1 — Atiwa West Mining District (MODFLOW Plume Modelling) A contaminant plume evolution study using MODFLOW groundwater flow modelling across a 56-well network (44 domestic wells + 12 monitoring boreholes) in a mining-dominated catchment in Ghana. The model simulates groundwater abstraction and contaminant transport over 3-year time steps (365, 730, 1095 days) to assess plume migration risk to domestic water sources. ### Study 2 — Kintampo South District (Hydrogeochemistry) Hydrogeochemical characterisation of 22 groundwater samples from the Voltaian sedimentary aquifer system in the Bono East Region.
