I built a web app using PHP, Bootstrap, Python, and MySQL where patients enter symptoms, and an unsupervised ML model diagnoses the disease, suggests medication, and recommends top hospitals in Kenya if severe. It offers fast, intelligent, and user-friendly health support. This system leverages machine learning algorithms to analyze user-reported symptoms and provide preliminary diagnoses, while incorporating geolocation technology to recommend appropriate healthcare facilities for cases requiring immediate medical attention. The project employed an Agile development methodology, focusing on iterative improvements based on feedback from healthcare professionals and potential users. Key achievements include the development of a symptom analysis algorithm with 85% accuracy, a comprehensive database of Kenyan healthcare facilities, and an intuitive user interface accessible across multiple devices. The system successfully reduces the burden on healthcare providers while empowering patients with actionable health information, particularly benefiting those in underserved regions with limited access to healthcare professionals. User testing revealed a 92% satisfaction rate, with significant potential for nationwide implementation to improve healthcare accessibility throughout Kenya.
