An end-to-end agricultural and food-security analytics project examining how production, regional patterns, trade exposure, food prices, and welfare indicators interact in Nigeria.

### The food-security paradox
The project observes a divergence between rising aggregate crop production and worsening undernourishment indicators. Production increased by approximately 45% between 2010 and 2022 while undernourishment increased from 10.4% in 2010 to 18.7% in 2022.
The project interprets this divergence as evidence that food security cannot be assessed from aggregate production alone. Access, prices, trade exposure, distribution, and welfare conditions also require attention.
