International courses are expensive and often not relevant to the local market. Skilled locals exist, but there is no easy way to find and book them. ## What we do Learners browse mentors, book sessions at RWF rates, and pay online. Mentors set their own rates and availability, get paid for sessions, and build a reputation through reviews. ## Key features - Sign up as a learner or mentor - Mentor profiles with skills, rates, location, and ratings - Search and filter mentors - Mentor availability and session booking - Payments in RWF (mobile money / card via Flutterwave) - Mentor earnings and payouts - Ratings and reviews after sessions - In-app notifications for booking and payment updates ## How booking works 1. **Learner picks a slot** — browses a mentor, chooses an open time from the mentor’s weekly availability, and requests a booking. Price is based on the mentor’s hourly rate and the session length. 2. **Booking starts as pending** — the mentor gets an in-app notification. 3. **Mentor accepts or declines** — decline ends the booking. Accept moves it to awaiting payment. 4. **Learner pays** — checkout in RWF via Flutterwave developer sandbox. Payment must happen before the deadline (10 minutes before the start of the session), or the booking is cancelled automatically. 5. **Booking is confirmed** — after successful payment, both people see the session in their bookings. 6. **Session is completed** — after it happens, either person can mark it completed. 7. **Review and payout** — the learner can leave a rating and review.
