## Installation and Setup
### Prerequisites
- PHP 7.0 or higher
- MySQL 5.7 or higher
- Web server (Apache/Nginx)
- XAMPP (recommended for local development)
### Local Installation Steps
1. Clone or download the repository to your XAMPP htdocs directory:

C:\xampp\htdocs\weexchange
```
2. Import the database:
- Start XAMPP and ensure Apache and MySQL services are running
- Open phpMyAdmin: localhost
- Click on the "Import" tab
- Click "Browse" and select the SQL file from: `database/we_exchange.sql`
- Click "Go" to import the database
3. Verify your installation:
- Visit localhost to check if everything is properly configured
- If you see any issues, follow the instructions provided
4. Access the site:
- Home page: localhost
- Registration: localhost
- Login: localhost
