Create a project at Firebase Console 2. Enable **Authentication** → Email/Password sign-in 3. Create a **Firestore** database 4. Copy your config and update `src/environments/environment.ts`: ```ts firebase: { apiKey: 'YOUR_API_KEY', authDomain: 'YOUR_PROJECT_ID.firebaseapp.com', projectId: 'YOUR_PROJECT_ID', storageBucket: 'YOUR_PROJECT_ID.appspot.com', messagingSenderId: 'YOUR_MESSAGING_SENDER_ID', appId: 'YOUR_APP_ID', } ``` 5. Add Firestore security rules (e.g. users can read/write their own `Users/{userId}` docs) ## Development server To start a local development server, run: ```bash ng serve ``` Once the server is running, open your browser and navigate to `localhost`.
