Production-oriented Algerian COD perfume e-commerce platform built with React, TypeScript, Cloudflare Workers, D1 and R2. # L'Aurès — Production E-commerce for Algeria **Live demo:** laures-algeria.lauresofficial.workers.dev L'Aurès is a production-oriented perfume commerce platform designed around the realities of selling in Algeria: cash on delivery, 58-wilaya address selection, variable delivery rates, live inventory, multilingual content, and an operational back office. I took the project from product definition to a deployed full-stack system in a focused one-day engineering sprint. The goal was not only to create an attractive storefront, but to solve the workflows behind a real business: catalogue maintenance, stock control, order processing, delivery history, product media, administrator permissions, deployment, and verification. ## What makes this a real-world project ### Customer experience - French, Arabic, and English storefronts with RTL support. - Product discovery by season, perfume house, and olfactory family. - Product-detail drawer with top, heart, and base notes; concentration; longevity; and sillage. - Mobile-first COD checkout with Algerian phone validation. - All **58 wilayas and 1,541 communes**, with communes filtered by wilaya. - Home-delivery and Stop-Desk selection with dynamic delivery pricing. - Local persistence of customer details for faster repeat checkout. ### Business operations - Database-backed product catalogue and stock management. - Secure Owner and restricted Operator roles. - Product creation, editing, soft deletion, restoration, and R2 image management. - Order confirmation, processing, delivery tracking, and permanent delivered-order history. - Automatic stock reduction when an order is accepted. - Owner-controlled administrator creation, deactivation, password reset, role changes, and deletion. ### Logistics and extensibility - A typed `ShippingPayload` boundary isolates the storefront from courier-specific APIs. - Mock Yalidine and ZR Express adapters demonstrate routing, label creation, and tracking flows. - The mock layer …
