## How to Reproduce the Environment
### 1. Clone the Repository
```bash
git clone git@github.com:RigbeWeleslasie/climate-challenge-week0.git
cd climate-challenge-week0
```
### 2. Create and Activate a Virtual Environment
```bash
python3 -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate
```
### 3. Install Dependencies
```bash
pip install -r requirements.txt
```

### 4. Run the EDA pipeline
```bash
python scripts/run_eda.py
```
### 5. Launch Jupyter notebooks
```bash
jupyter notebook
```
### 6. Run the Streamlit Dashboard
```bash
python3 -m streamlit run app/main.py
```
## Data
Data sourced from NASA POWER database covering 5 African countries.
- Ethiopia, Kenya, Sudan, Tanzania, Nigeria
- Period: January 2015 - March 2026
- 4,108 daily observations per country
- Data files excluded from version control via .gitignore
